Terms and Conditions
Last updated September 13, 2026
These terms cover your use of this website and the general conditions under which 303 Radon Mitigation provides radon mitigation services in Colorado. The written quote and contract you sign for a specific job governs that job. Where the two differ, the signed contract controls.
Using This Website
The information on this site is provided for general reference. Radon systems vary by foundation, and nothing on this site should be treated as a specific recommendation for your home. We do not guarantee that the content is complete or current.
Everything on this site, including text, images, and layout, belongs to us or is used with permission. Do not copy or republish it without asking.
Quotes and Estimates
We do not quote radon work over the phone. Every job starts with a free on-site visit, because the price depends on your foundation, where the pipe has to run, and whether electrical work is needed.
The price we give you after that visit is the price for the work described in the quote. It does not change while we are working on it.
If conditions are found that were not visible during the walkthrough, we stop and talk to you before doing any additional work. Nothing gets added to an invoice without your approval.
Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote. After that, material and labor costs may have changed.
Scheduling and Access
You are responsible for providing safe access to the work areas, including the basement, crawl space, attic, and exterior of the home. If access is blocked or unsafe on the scheduled day and we cannot proceed, we may need to reschedule.
If you need to reschedule or cancel, let us know as far in advance as you can so we can offer the slot to someone else.
The Work
We install and service radon mitigation systems. A radon mitigation system is designed to reduce radon levels in a building by drawing soil gas from beneath the foundation and venting it above the roofline.
We do not perform radon testing. Confirming your levels after installation requires a test, which you would arrange separately through a test kit or a continuous monitor.
Radon levels in any building are affected by weather, seasonal changes, how the building is ventilated, and changes made to the structure over time. A properly installed system reduces radon levels. We cannot guarantee a specific reading, and no contractor honestly can.
Installing a system requires cutting into concrete, framing, or a vapor barrier, and running pipe through the structure. Some visible alteration to the building is unavoidable. We discuss the routing with you before we start.
Warranty
Warranty terms for your system are provided in writing with your quote and contract. Radon fans also carry a manufacturer warranty from the fan manufacturer, and those terms come from the manufacturer directly.
Our warranty does not cover damage caused by alterations made by others, damage from flooding or other events outside our control, or problems arising from changes made to the building after installation.
Payment
Payment terms are stated on your quote and contract. We accept card payments processed through Stripe.
Financing is available through Affirm, Afterpay and Klarna. If you choose financing, you apply directly with the financing provider and your agreement with them is governed by their terms, not ours. We do not make credit decisions.
Your Right to Cancel
Under Colorado law, if you sign a contract for services at your home, you generally have three business days to cancel that contract. If this applies to your agreement, the cancellation notice and instructions are provided with your contract at the time of signing.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from the work is limited to the amount you paid us for that work. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of a property sale, delays in a real estate transaction, or loss of use of any part of the building.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Real Estate Transactions
We work with buyers, sellers, agents and property managers, and we understand that closings run on deadlines. We will tell you honestly whether we can meet your date before you commit to us. We cannot be responsible for delays caused by scheduling, access, weather, or material availability, and we do not guarantee that a transaction will close on time.
Privacy
How we handle information collected through this site is covered in our privacy policy.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any dispute arising from them or from work we perform will be handled in the courts of Boulder County, Colorado.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Terms in a signed contract are not changed by updates to this page.
